ABOUT ME
My love affair with real estate was a happy accident. It started when my partner and I bought a dilapidated 19th century schoolhouse in a sleepy, canal-side village. It had no plumbing to speak of, nor heat. There was no kitchen or bathroom. It's ancient cloth-bound wiring snaked through crumbling walls of horse-hair plaster and hand-cut lathe. Wind whistled through holes in the walls. Bats threw slumber parties in the attic. And yet we were just the right combination of young and naive to think that with a few thousand dollars and a toolbox we could turn it into our dream home within the year. Well, it cost a little more than that of course, and because we did all the work ourselves — the designing, the building, the installing — it took a bit longer too, almost a decade. A decade of blood, sweat, and tears, and yet when we were done we knew we'd done something monumental: we'd made ourselves a home. It taught me that home truly is what you make of it, but also: the right home is worth fighting for.
With more than twenty-five years' experience in estate management, vacation home rentals and real estate sales, I've earned a reputation among my peers for hard work, honesty, optimism and professionalism. Our team has overseen more than $49 million in real estate sales in the past five years alone.
I am a Trustee of the Tinicum Conservancy and work on their Communications Committee, and I am Secretary of the Tinicum Township Planning Commission. I'm also the proud owner of Jack, my rescue pitbull, with whom I enjoy long walks on the canal and long naps on the couch.
